Summer Singing with Sian Croose
Laragh, County Wicklow, Ireland
A summer singing workshop open to all! Singing great songs with wonderful harmonies and inspring lyrics with an experienced choir leader and singer.
No previous experience is necessary in order to take part. All the songs are taught by ear, you won't have to sing by yourself and the workshop is designed to be fun, informal and uplifting. Each day runs from 10.30 - 4pm, tea and coffee provided, with lunch available from a range of cafes and restaurants in Laragh.
Sian has worked with singers and songwriters from around the world and we will be singing inspiring songs from a whole range of sources, traditional and contemporary, including newly written songs from the UK, African- American songs from the USA, work and sacred songs from the Republic of Georgia, and folk songs from Corsica, Bulgaria and Finland.
Sian has run these summer gatherings for many years and the Brockagh Centre in Laragh is in a lovely spot, just over an hour from Dublin.
